Newham Music has opened a beautiful new venue at Westfield Stratford City, complete with Studiobricks soundproof recording and practice booths, a stage for performances and a flexible workshop space.
Describing the Studiobricks pods, Rona Scarr of Newham Music says: "I think the best thing our booths have been used for is our studio sessions and songwriting courses. Since we've been here they've been used to write and record original songs by people in Newham from age 11 to about 60! And many also composed the beats and backing tracks for those songs in the booths too."
Rona continues: "Members of the community also come in to use the booths to rehearse their music/instruments in a private/soundproof place they wouldn't usually have access to".
