A busy start of the year for the Black Cat team

It was a busy start to the year from the Black Cat Team!

Alice and Nik attended The VO Social's first ever national conference at 53Two in central Manchester (the only conference we've ever been to where party hats were de rigueur!)

There was a great atmosphere at the conference - VO's from across the country and further afield gathered to share ideas and inspiration, and it was a real pleasure to meet old friends and get to know new faces in the world of VO, audiobook narration and podcasting.

We displayed the Studiobricks sound-isolation booths, together with the Studiobricks acoustic products such as the Eco45 absorbers and bass traps.

Next we were off to the Music and Drama Education Expo at the Business Design Centre Islington.  We were delighted to be joined by Toby Smith from Wenger's international team, and it was great to catch up with old friends as well as getting to know new people in the world of music, drama and performing arts education.

We displayed the world-renowned Wenger music stands, orchestra seating, music posture chairs, conductor's equipment, instrument storage cabinets, staging and risers as well as our own choir folders, band folders and orchestra folders (with bespoke goldblocking).

We also exhibited the Studiobricks sound-islation booths - ideal for music and recording, vocal booths, VO/podcasting, audiobook narration and media production.

All in all a busy start to the year - and many more conferences, trade shows and activites to follow in the course of 2025...
